橘： 企業だって、今の馬鹿馬鹿しい番組作りに、うんざりしてるはず。ほとんど、狭い範囲のコミュニティの人間が、カラオケ大会やってるような状況だろう?

それを直すには、旦那であるスポンサーの側にも責任感持ってもらいたいな。もっとも、企業文化が未熟な段階で、そんなこと言うと、企業のお手盛り番組ばっかりになってしまうかな(笑)

小： まあ、たしかにそうですね。有料視聴課金は制作者の夢だと思いますが、ウェブと一緒で今さら難しいでしょうし。有料販売しているはずの新聞・雑誌ですら、このご時世に広告入れてくれるようなクライアントを失うような批判は困難でしょうからね。だから、ワイドショーにしても弱小芸能プロの芸人ばかり叩き、大手芸能プロの御用レポーターが跋扈する…。

橘： 性同一障害の問題から派遣や婚活まで、とんなテーマでもドラマにしてしまうテレビ局が、唯一、さわれなかったテーマがある。それは交通事故で悲惨な目にあった家族の物語なんだよね。

戦後社会のなかで自動車事故は、もっとも身近な死の問題であったにもかかわらず、巨大なスポンサーに遠慮して、ドラマにはできなかったんだと思う。別に、そういうジャーナリスト感覚の欠如を責めているわけではなくて、テレビとはそういうものだということを、みんな自覚して付き合うべきなんだと思うな。
