やはり、と言うべきか、左側のグラフの右上に位置している「老・高組」がほとんど移籍者という陰には、右側のグラフの通り「生え抜き組の放出」が存在している。プロットした点を見れば明らかな通り、ジャイアンツの場合は「32歳、数千万円」というのが「お払い箱の基準」と思われる。吹き出しに「どうせ俺たちゃ。。」とあるが、新卒でジャイアンツに入団し、最後まで勤め上げられる選手は極めて稀である。 「32歳、数千万円」に至った時に、他球団の同ポジションの「32歳、2億円以上」のスター選手が移籍してきて、生え抜き組のポジションをあっという間に奪ってしまうのだから。まさか現在「若・安組」に所属している坂本などが日経ビジネスオンラインの読者ではないだろうが、この法則に気が付けば若手のモチベーションは地に落ちるだろう。  (via 勝つチームマネジメントを野球とボートで考える：日経ビジネスオンライン)
